Clear Corner Reflector Removal

Clear Corner Reflector Removal
Question for those that installed clear corners and removed the reflector - I just got my corners in and would like to do the same but I am not sure that I am looking at the right piece to remove. When you look inside the hole the bulb goes in, there is an angled reflective piece that "T" 's in or sticks out at an angle in front of the bulb. This piece is very stiff and firm and I am not sure if this is the right thing to attempt to remove. Am I looking at the right part? Seems like this part would break instead of bend.
I am concerned as I expected a more pliable reflector that could easily be deformed and removed. Any tips in removing it other than the screwdriver technique in the DIY ??
Thanks for you help

I thought there was a DIY for this..... hold on.....
DIY: Side-marker "Clear Corner Lights" Installation
Hope that helps.
Jeff
EDIT: Ok maybe I should read your whole post before getting post-happy! You did read the DIY. Sorry about that.

No other tips than the mentioned one in that thread - but don't worry, it will work OK. First I was also concerned and was afraid to break something, but it came out just fine and I didn't even scratch anything...
Wait, now come to think of it, I also used needle-nose pliers in addition to the screwdriver... bent that T-shaped ***** really well before removed the reflector.
All in all, it was not bad. The first piece took a bit longer, maybe 10 minutes - the next one was out in about two min. max.
EDIT: hey, I'm not jonny... my nick is Tamas.
Yay... now I'm logged on as jonny... I can go ahead and be a dick impersonating him! :D
(just kidding... this board is screwed up it seems)
