I'm thinking of changing or doing something custom with front grill. Maybe same honeycomb design but aluminum or chrome. Any thoughts or suggestions.

A friend gave me a ride recently in a black Jag XJR with a chrome mesh grill -- the look is phenomenal and I'd like the same on my black RX-8. If you pursue aluminum or chrome, please let everyone know!

Also, the black RX-8 suffers slightly in appearance because the fender air outlets are black, and they don't help visually accent the highly stylish front fenders. The garnishes might help, but I'd also like to get aluminum or chrome fender air outlets. So if you see them offered anywhere....

 

I agree 100% and will let you know if I do anything. I think the strakes help the fenders and I got them today
