True, money talks! IF they are just gonna make 1, it's gonna cost you an arm & a leg. Most of those places wouldn't even waste their time to make just 1 because it's just not worth the effort because of profit margins.

Custom kit? Maybe around 5k-6k? Molded to how you like it, prep, paint, install..etc. I know West Coast customs charges about 10k for a custom kit if you want it.

Yea I think 10k will do it.That's a lot of dough for a kit but if you want something special you just have to cough up the money.

I think I remebered erebunicorp.com doing it. I think it was around 2000-2500. That was a year ago or something. It could be a little bit cheaper then that, I'm actually rounding up. It wouldn't be too hard for the shop to mold it, it's just foam afterall. They would probaly use a mold from a bodykit already in stock and grind the foam to make a mold out of it. The dimension wouldn't be too extreme and the quality wouldn't be the best, but a custom piece notheless. Give them a call.

there are a few ways of making a custom kit

1. use an existing kit you fancy/like designed for another car and modify it to suit the lines of the 8, less work hence less $$$

2. design and make from ground up, takes alot longer and cost more $$$.
