Custom Paint Job help/ maybe some photoshop help.
I am going to be putting a body kit and a new paint job on my 8 that I just bought and I am trying to figure out what the total is going to end up being so i can save up the money I need while i am deployed. I have the kits priced out for the most part but from reading the post on here I have no idea how much the paint job I want is going to cost me. The is the paint scheme that I want.
Where the light blue is in the front i want that to be lightning yellow and then fade into a brown/tan that would match my leather interior where the darker blue is and then into the black. The light blue lines that trace the car would also be lightning yellow. If anyone could photoshop this for me it would be greatly appreciated and what do you guys think it would cost me. If you need a color sample of the interior leather let me know and I will get you one.

Conservative you are going to spend $7,000.00 +. But do your homework, get reviews of any place that does custom work. many will claim they can pull that off but it will take a talented painter to mimic that. Good painters are hard to fine actually.

What color is your car now?
If I can offer a bit of advice, it would be this:
If you have a custom bike builder in the area, he will know "who's who" for custom paint. You may find that some custom painters prefer to shoot Single Stage, as opposed to top & clear, but go with it. It's MUCH easier to repair chips, since the paint will chemically adhere to itself, even wet to dry. If you're looking for different colors than your car currently is (if you want THIS EXACT job but your car is now VR) you may consider Single Stage. I dont know about pearl and mica effects, though. You should read up on it.
And have fun on deployment

It is gray now and I was thinking about talking to a bike custom painter that I know so now i will definitely have to do that. just wondering if anyone has done a 2 or 3 tone transition type of paintjob that I could see some pics of or if I could get some help on the photoshopping to help me get a quote when I do go somewhere.

for a job like that it will cost quite a bit 5k + I would say.
Also the painter will need to have at a bare minimum of 3 spray guns and most likely will need 5 separate ones for the base coat alone to get it to blend from front to back without it looking off.

Just randomly chose colors in PhotoShop :P
And honestly looking back at the photo the colors look better than the blue imo. Even though I didn't shade or anything. You should do it but expect to pay a ton for such a custom paint job (unless you know someone).
