I searched here and the gallery forum for "custom paint" but didn't seem to find much (one actual photo on this forum, of a blended rainbow effect). I wondering if anyone's done any spiffy aftermarket paintwork on their RX-8s (flame details, custom colors, etc.) There've been some Photoshop attempts over in the gallery section, but they just don't do justice to "reality".

I've got a Nordic Green RX-8, and while I can't mod it much (being a wussy AT driver ), I can at least paint it cool... I'm wondering how perhaps gloss white details could work on the dark green car -- maybe gloss white rims, gloss white vents-behind-the-front-tires, gloss white fuel cap (painted over the aluminum ones, which have the details on them, not over the stock cap), and maybe gloss white tribal-style "flames" down the sides...

Has anyone really gone to town on their RX-8 from a purely artistic standpoint?

Galpin mazda painted a rx8 with custom paint but that's all I 've seen so far
