My wife made me a custom sunroof shield. The shield cover comes with an opening so that I can change out the design patterns.

The stock one is supposed to have a reflective thermal barrier? Mine must be broken. I just have a cheapy plastic thing wrapped in fabric.

 

I haven't noticed a big difference with the car parked outside, but I bet that its because I do not have a windshield reflector.... that's next on the list.

I did notice that the car felt a little cooler with the AC on and the sunroof shield.

Btw there is nothing wrong with my factory sun roof cover, I just wanted to reinforce it since I am in Florida now.
