all those holes could be made into a reall nice looking large intake area at the lolwer part of that non functional grill. think about it.

Hmmm...interesting. I prefer the non-functional grill appearance

when i had the stock bumper and the revi + duct, I don't recall it being blocked. So I don't see the point in this.

I think I'd worry about sucking up small animals and birds. Maybe even a small child.
I think if it was a single opening under a well cut grille it would look alright. It would have the look of a large intake scoop.

I'm guessing that since the REVi RAD was never designed with the idea that it would be visible, that's why it looks like such *** from the front.

I'm all for getting the most performance out of a part, but one large port would be better then 6 "teeth" it has now.. at least visually for me.

Wow, never realized that it was that big until i just saw Team's picture. I always thought that whole opening was about 7-8 inches wide.

I'm picking up the Ram air tomorrow. I am looking into how I can make the single intake, and get rid of the "teeth" and make a single smooth intake. And incorperate it into the grille in a smooth transition.

now you are thinking---keep going on with this.
I just cut the front rotor symbol out of the front of mine( i have the basic car--no appearance grp etc)--. It cleaned up the front a little more than I expected and according to my gauges my car is running approx 5 degrees cooler in 35-45 mph traffic. Think that symbol up there was blocking more air flow somehow than you would think----OR maybe its my imagination. I do like the look however.

Well I got the RB Ram air. Looks pretty simple to cut and mold it to make it smooth at the mouth. I am still wondering about the "Notch" on the left side. I could eliminate that. But is there a reason for that behind my bumper cover? Some fitment issue? I haven't had the bumper cover off yet.
For those that have this system, how snug is it to the grille opening? Does it actually touch the grille? I would cut out the lower portion of the grille to allow it come forward into the opening a bit more. I am wondering if it would have to be elongated to reach past the grille and fit up into the opening. Coming up to the leading edge of the grille. I like the idea of it in the opening flush with the grille face. I'll start this little project tomorrow.
