Daily wipe for brake dust... need "California Duster" for the wheels

I just bought a California Car Duster (currently being seasoned) so I don't have to wash the car every other day... at the rate I'm washing it, I'll be down to primer by Christmas.

Okay, the Cali' Duster solves the paint/body daily dirt - so what about the wheels? Is there a product for this too? Will any of the 500 types of baby wipes work? Some of the wipes are soapless, alcohol free, etc., etc. - not sure what's left in there but they're wet.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

I used a wet wash rag, then chased it with a dry towel.

Yeah, I'm probably overcomplicating this. But I would like to keep something in the car; e.g. one of those little wipe dispensers. With that and the Cali' duster in the car, I can give it a quick wipe-off wherever I am - like in Atlanta traffic!

I'll check out the various wipes and report back... big deal here huh...

I think any of them will be fine. Esp. if you have a dry towel to wipe off excess with later. It's also common that people wax their wheels to make removal of the dust easier.

I just use a cotton work towel to rub the brake dust off. Works great for me.

What about ceramic or titanium brake pads? Wouldn't they generate lighter colored (so-called "clear") dust? Like these, for instance: https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...ment+brake+pad . Just wondering.
