Dealer Badging

How do I get these ugly badges off my car? I think it would look so much better without it. Thanks all.

How about telling the dealer to take it off? Try the 'aw shucks guys' I didn't ask for this and don't like it on my car... you can get pissy later.

They usually are decals....either die cut....all individual letters...or on a clear background.

Carefully pick at the corner with a fingernail...and see if it comes off...It should.

Then use some WD40 or solvent to remove the glue...give it some wax...and it's gone!

i'm so glad the dealerships in california don't do this. i noticed that on the east coast, so many cars have this. i guess in the south too.

Heat it up with a hairdryer, the glue won't hold as well then you can get it off

After the deal is done, they usually want to take the car "back" (service department) and clean it up. I ALWAYS tell them to take off any sticker. If they are nice and ask why, I tell them I prefer not to have any kind of stickers on my car. If they are obnoxious, I ask them if they are willing to pay me to advertise for them as I drive around town. If they are even more obnoxious, I tell them that they will lose the deal if they don't take it off - and I wan t them to do it in front of me so some ******* service guy doesn't do something to the car when it is out of my sight.
