Question Dealer writing on windshield leaves a lasting impression

Hey guys. I've had my 8 for about 7 months now. My problem is that the dealer wrote, "Rx8, Fun to drive" on my glass. You can't see it during the day or when the windshield is clean but the second it gets foggy it's there. Any ideas on how to get that crap off. It's almost like whatever they used to write on the window ate away at the surface. Please help. I want people to learn the Rx8 is fun to drive by driving the car, not reading in on mine. :p

Thanks

not yet. i was wondering if there was potentially anything more than that. to use the claybar does it matter if it's cold outside b/c i'm going to detail my car sometime this week and it's not exactly warm

thanks for the reply

RainX will also get off a lot of stuff if you put some muscle into it.

Acetone.....

Try acetone, usually found around the house as 'Nail Polish Remover'.

It is what the dealers use, and takes off even that yellow paint marker that police/scrap/impound lots use, without harming paint (or glass, obviously.)

Be careful using strong chemicals because the chance of it getting on your paint. Then you'd really be pissed. Try shaving cream. serious on the inside and out. It will stop the foggin for one. the other it acts as one of the best alchohol foam cleaners for windows.

^I agree, if acetone doesn't get crap off, it's beyond help.
