This is a disgrace...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33645

I was searching ebay for RX8 stuff, and I come apon this auction. I don't know about you guys, but this absolutly is sad. One of our own RX8Club members is trying to sell just a packed of wheel well molding (what is used to make the DIY: Billet Grille) Something they are able to pickup at Pep-Boys for $9.99, is selling it for around $36 shipped.

How low can people be, taking something that people are teaching you do for free, and then turning it into a profit of yours. We know that he is a member of this board too, sad.

I kind of understand your frustation but not all visit here
and if someone wants to make a buck here and there I see no harm.
imagine someone going to the dealer instead and buying a new set
which may or maynot look the same.but at least they can have the option of
going on ebay and getting something similar for cheaper.
now if it was forsale here on the forum I would be the first to say its a scam

I hope you dont take this the wrong way I just wouldnt worry that much
since who ever buys it is not smart enough to do some research anyway
like we all have
thanks kel

some people probably won't realize that the material that he is selling costs about 13 bucks cheaper at Pep Boys. but hey, some people just don't know any better.

I just finally saw this thread and the POS is using different members photo's for his add. I'm glad he didn't use any of mine or I would be pissed!!!!

We could use the "Ask seller a question" and complain to him directly and follow-up with ebay about him using pictures without permission.. From what I can tell he is using Mazdabob's, possibly English's photo's... and the new guy that used the grill material for the back of the car. Funny, I had 2-3 people within the last 1.5 weeks ask me about the grill... wonder if it was them...

What bugs me is the guy using other people's photo's in his add, more than likely without permission.

I don't think he's even selling premade items, just the material it seems, yeah pretty low, but buyer beware...

What??? Now I am the "new guy"???
Gee, another time someone has used my photos on ebay to push their items. First the guy who stole my photos to use for his instructions on his brake light sticker mask, and now my rear end.

I just asked him a the question about giving permission to use others photos and asked him to remove them. I also told him that I would hate to have to complain to ebay about his use without permission of other's photos to sell over priced wheel well trim.

Am I missing something here? He's selling the KIT to make them? Why doesn't he just make the things and sell them ready to install?
