euro lip spoiler/rear bumper
Hey - i know a couple people have it, but i haven't been able to track down the real mazda euro lip spoiler. i know evo-r.net has 2 versions, but one sticks out too much for me and the other i don't like how it comes down the back of the trunk. so i want to order the real mazda euro lip spoiler. can anybody lead me to a site? i remember one guy said his "shop" got it for him, but that doesn't help me.
also, with all these body kits out there, has anyone seen one that flattens out the rear bumper? i don't think it's possible b/c of the reinforcements and layout of the car, but really the only thing that bothers me about the 8's profile is how far that rear bumper sticks out from the taillights. if you notice, MOST cars have this same issue, but i guess b/c the trunk lid on the 8 is relatively short, the bulge out of the rear bumper looks even more drastic to me. as a point of comparison, i love the backend of the new corvette, it's almost like the top part of the trunk is further out than the bottom of the bumper! again, don't know if it's possible on our car but i'd love to know if it is.

so i decided to keep looking around and forgot about mazdaparts.com. they have it ...
http://www.mazdaparts.com/ProductDet...000-1151625382
but the picture is only from one angle so i can't tell if it's the genuine lip spoiler. at $400 painted it's not cheap! judging from their prices (i've never ordered from them) they don't seem to be the cheapest. anyone comment on that site and their pricing?

Yes, it's expensive, but that's all OE products. I have had both, and the build quality of the Euro lip is the best and coming factory painted, it's the easiest to gaurentee a paint match.
Madaparts will probably be the only place you can get it for that price.

also, it looks like even the oe euro lip spoiler comes "out" (towards the back of the trunk), just not as much as the evo-r.net's lip spoiler. whereas the lip spoiler of the ms wing seems to be flush with the trunk itself. can anyone comment on that? i'd rather have it flush, but the angle of the euro lip spoiler picture on mazdaparts.com isn't very good, but it seems that the euro lip comes out some.

I have the Euro lip spoiler. It doesn't come out as far as the EVO-R lip spoiler, or the R-Magic one. It looks good, but I admit that I'd like it better if it extended out over the trunk more.
