Evo-R eyelids?
Hello there,
What is the difference between the ones for 129 bucks from 69 ones?
http://evo-r.net/product/RX-8/eyelids/index.htm
I understand the first ones are painted while the other ones are not, but when you click to purchase the second one, it asks you to put the color code which makes no sense for me.
Anyone?

How much did you pay for it?
Oh really?! I haven't thought about it
Well, I did research the forum but unfortunatley nobody has the same question
Thank you for your help though

Guys, I ordered it on April 4th, and still got nothing. Horrible communication too. I asked Jay or whatever his name is what's wrong and he claimed that there some delays and ****. I wouldn't order anything from them from now on, just to let you know.

It does mention that it takes five business days to paint, so I'd imagine it could take up to two weeks to get it shipped out. I ordered mine on the 11th, hopefully I'll get them by the end of the month.

Yeah he's not the most communicative dude but he got me the lids pretty fast considering they came from the far east.
They're thickish, but I'd rather they're thick than chintzy like vinyl looks. I'll try to snap a few pictures of mine.

Has anyone tried removing the eyelids with the 3M tape on before. Just curious as too what to expect for tape adhesive.
I'm thinking of polishing the headlamps first of oxidation then buying the clear film protector for the lamps, then apply the eyelids. This way, if I ever need to replace or remove, it's easy - no tape gunk and you are protecting your lights from rocks.
You can get the protector film on eBay.
