I have an 05 rx8 winning blue with a spoiler, its an AT. Of course I wish I would have gotten the MT but this was my first ever car and I paid cash for it the day i turned 16. Since It costs a fortune to get an AT up to speed I decided that I am just going to make it look good and be satisfied until i buy a new car. I am trying not to spend too much money but as of right now heres what I'm looking at. Dark Tints, Strakes, dark tinted corner blinkers, and rotary accents. Anything else i should look into or should any of these be romoved from my list?

no, get the accents. Those are good. Go with tint, clear corners, rotary accents, and some strakes, either black, chrome, or WB.

 

you think clear corners are better? Ya and ive been working three jobs since i was like 14. I bought it used with 29,000 miles on it. And I like the strakes alot. Does it matter which accents i get, like i was just gonna go with the lease expensive pair

congrats on the purchase, I'm sure you'll still enjoy the rx-8 alot, I know i still do since I was 16. There's a boatload of things you could do but what kind of budget are you looking into?

Tint is always nice, it just makes having the car nicer on sunny days and looks good too. You could also consider changing some of the lighting such as changing to HID's or if you already have them, maybe a different color. The rotary accents are a nice touch too, they look clean. Even a lip spoiler on the trunk wouldn't be too expensive and make it look nice too.

 

As for the accents. The rear one from rotaryfx.com is good.

I bought the front from there too... gotta say, didn't fit that well, I'd suggest buying the Mazda genuine front one.

 

You should do the LED conversion all around your 8. That is my fav. thing i have done and people have seen them, then they did it them selfs.

 

ya i was thinkin about hid's, as for the clear corners, did you get the completely clear ones that are like 59.99? from rotorfx
