sorry guys ive been away from the club for a while....but yes its a 360 modena and no we didnt really aim to make it look like the challenge, just kind of came out that way butttt something got messed up in the engine and they are trying to fix it but as of now it is dead but my dad just got a red sl500 and he is going to sell his blue sl500 until he finds a different one. and as far as the taillights on my car go...its not vinyl. its spray tint. the kind you can get on ebay. works good but doesnt leave them with that fresh " i just spent 250$ to smoke my tailights out " look...its flat. not glossy. but i save about 230$ so ill take it...........but for whoever scrolls on through and reads this im in a predicament......my car has a nice collection of dents in it as pictured earlier....so somehow....i convinced my dad to fix it up. turns out my carbonfiber trunk and hood started turning yellow due to the hot florida sun. and the hood began to crack. soooo luckily our friend is a dealer and he is selling 2 rx8's for parts and we are buying the stock hood and trunk....now heres where im torn. i can custom paint my car as i please...im firm on getting it two tone grey/black. what i was thinking is from the front bumper nose follow the hood lining up to the roof and back down to the trunk. have all the black. and leave the rest of the car the grey. im not sure if this is the best idea and how i should go about following the lining. PLEASE let me know what you think. mean and rude or not. and if you have pictures or photoshopped pictures to back what your thoughts are or mine. please post them! thankss

i'll be suprised if they try to fix that rear quarter. once you try to stretch and pull that metal back into its shape, its going to be weak as hell despite its natural abilities to go back where it needs to. if you push on it anywhere and it sounds like an oil can, dont settle for less than a new quarter being put on. a good bodyman can torch it back but still, you sacrifice structural integrity back there, especially to be able to take another direct hit. hope it gets the love it deserves!!

eh, its not as bad as the pictures make them seem. plus i popped them out quite a bit. the body shop said those shouldn't be much of a problem but the dents on my roof wont be perfect.

Hey man, it looks great! For my two bits, I would put some black vinyls or something else CF/black on the sides of the car. Right now, with the hood, trunk and wheels, the sides look a little TOO grey. Maybe some tasteful racing decals in black, or black sideskirts, or something. Also, again, this is just my taste, but I would try a grey looking front/rear bumper insert where the black plastic is, or with the oil cooler guards, just to break up all the CF a bit.
Nice!
Nice!

Silver drip rails
I decided to remove the black coating on the roof rails. They are aluminum and polish well with scotch brite-then coat with 4 layers of non yellowing clear coat!
