I just ordered headlight covers "LIGHT LIDZ" for my 600rr.. i had some leftover so i decided to experiment.. what y'all think?
They aren't your normal vinyl.. they used on bikes like this:
yeah? or nah?
***REMEMBER: THIS IS ONLY A TEST... hehehe***:D

I think that blacking out the headlights would look excellent especially on a black RX. Although not necessarily legal?
Flipstream..
Does this stuff come in black? Where did you find it at...

"Our innovative LightLidz© are fast become one of THE accessories for your sportbike! You can change the color of your headlights without changing the color of the light output, so there is no loss of brightness at night!"
I would assume that it could be considered like cars w/ flip out headlights (covered when off).. and there would be no loss in brightness at night..
Got it from

**However, the black ones have been out of stock for a while.. i'm waiting to get some for my bike... but they should be getting some soon.

Those look neat, but I want something with some thickness to it. EVORINC is on the right track they just need to start making them to match factory paint, I don't get the whole carbon fiber thing.

If someone decides to get some of this neat stuff in grey, please PM me and I'll share some of the cost with you. It looks too light grey for my Titanium car to buy it just to experiment with, since it comes in two 12" X 18" sheets, but I'd still like to play with some.
BV, you interested?

I'm in no rush to get them, I like the r-magic style and will just wait patiently until someone makes some reasonably priced knock-offs. I would want an exact factory color match, one of the reason's I don't like the carbon fiber.

This material must be the same or similar to what they use in "Bubba's truck". You know, the truck where they have a mural across the back glass but you can see right through it from the inside.
