No not that leg. My Leg lip 
You know how bad crap happens in 3? A few weeks back someone back into my front bumper so it needs to be painted. On Tuesday I found out my company is outsourcing IT and will not have a job in a few months.
And now this.
I had a track day at PIR. I hit the apex of the 90˚ turn on 7 at full throttle and had a good line until I realized I was about to run into the person in front of me. Instead of rolling off the throttle like I know I should have done, I lifted and the front end got a little light. I went off the track over the curbing on the left side of the track.

This thread is stupid lol. Sorry to hear about your lil mishap. Its not the end of the world the damage doesn't look that bad and doesn't look noticable. You are racing your car and you are going to break things like a front lip, so you have to expect things like this. Oh well just suck it up and just move on
At least you didn't wreck your car lol

I think you would have better offer wrecking your car intead of your front lip since its the only one in the U.S lol. At least you can replace the RX8 easily lol

I fully understand its not a replacement lip that you can buy anywhere so it is a big deal to you, but you should have thought about that before you raced your car at the track. You are definitely a smart dude. C'mon dude you are racing the car and things will happend. If this lip is the only one in the U.S. you should have thought about that first I think you would have better offer wrecking your car intead of your front lip since its the only one in the U.S lol. Whats your point? I'm just stating my opinion. Its his fault that he cracked his front lip and now he's all bummed about it. I have no sympathy for him he took the risk when he signed the waiver to get onto the track. If he's not okay with breaking things or in this case cracking his front lip he has no business on the track. In regards to my previous statement he said this front lip in the only one in the U.S and is not easily replaceable so i stated he would have been better off wrecking his rx8 since its easily replaceable here in the U.S.

think about it. The leg lip he has is the only one in the U.S. according to pdxhak something you cant just buy anywhere. If he wrecks his car he could just to to a local mazda dealer and replace it. Im pretty sure theres more than one rx8 at the dealership

Your really not that smart huh lol. If you were able to read you, you would not be postin stupid replies like this. Where in my post did i mention the cost of the leg lip being more that the rx8. My whole point is availibility. The leg lip may be readily availible in japan but not here in the states. So my whole point is its easier to wreck the 8 and replace it by doing to a local mazda dealership than replacing that leg lip since its the only one in the U.S. according to pdxhak.

91NAFC3S, You are confusing me sharing my experience at the track with whining and complaining. I'm not all pissed off and or all bummed out. Yes it sucks I cracked the lip. A lot of people on this board have interest in the lip which is why I'm sharing what happened. I have said quite a few times my day at the track was an awesome day and have no regrets.
For everyone that has pushed their at the track knows if this is the worst that ever happens to me then I'm very lucky. I know what is at risk when going to the track. As we all should.
I see you recently joined 8club. Welcome to the club. I hope you are less abrasive as you move forward with other members.

LOL that is not surprising. I checked a few of his other posts and it obvious he was here to cause trouble. Did he get banned over the street racing junk he was talking?
