I hadn't aligned my hood before I took these pictures (had just taken off carbon hood), hence the gap between bumper but as you can see, the authentic FEED piece sits just like OEM! The Shine version will be produced of their hyrbid material and should be even easier to fit. Please keep in mind this is an out of box fitment, no work and it is absolutely excellent. Note the sidemarker/headlight area is perfection, and this is typically where bumpers have issues. Out of the box fitment = 99% oem fitment. I'll post similar pictures for you guys once I've got the Shine version of the bumper in my hands ![Icon Tup](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/icon_tup.gif)

Looks around 1" lower to me.
Prices are in the 1st post. I asked Ken about the CF sides and he said it is going to be a couple of weeks and he is not sure on the price. The price for the CF sides are also in the first post so who knows if they are going to change or he forgot posting them.

Very good question!
Because removing the bumper beam would be a great turnoff to many buyers, this was discussed upon installation. The bumper will not slip right on if you have the bumper beam installed. To solve this problem, the replica bumpers will have a flowing template that may be cut out by the shop installing, to allow for the bumper bar to stay in place. So, if you are comfortable with removing the bumper bar, that is fine. If you would like to leave it in, the body shop will know exactly what to do to accomodate the bar. If you look carefully, you can see a very rough marking of where the bumper bar would hit when installing. The production template will be much smoother and flowing, this was just for a visual idea. So its a win - win

^^^ no but there are some sensors on it, one being your ambient temp reader, the air bag trigger will be designated with a yellow band or some kind of yellow paint, Ive taken the bar off and havent seen it on there so it must be in some other crush zone,,

Yeah, come to think of it, I remember I had to move mine when I installed the REVi duct. So, basically you will loose some safety factor by removing it in case of a collision. Not good in my books. I suggest leaving it on and working around it to get the bumper cover on.

Most bumpers that have additional openings are open. As far as functional goes I assume you mean do they have a purpose, that is ultimately up to the person, as far as functionally letting air through into the front end I would say yes, could you be more specific? Do you mean thier purpose is brake duct cooling etc? thats up to you if thats what you mean,,,

Gas dampers are unbranded, a friend picked them up for me.
The lower duct is an actual opening. There is no ducting directing it one way or another but it could easily be made into a very effective brake cooling duct as I plan. I'll post up when I get the time for the project.
