Shot shine an email to redirect him back this way... hopefully it will help. I can put down some change on this like right now. This is also a clever coverup for another bump.
note - 10 peoplex$200 deposit = $2,000. Enough to buy bumper minimum, then they can start mold and BAM, 10 happy customers.

I took a lot of flack for wanting a Burnout kit done in flexible fiberglass... Lazi and others jumped my case about it. In the end I feel we made some significant changes to the mounting of the kit which makes it even easier to install for the average user. Basically, since I fronted the JDM Burnout kit, and am selling it now, I jump-started the process...
If someone were to PAY to get the FEED kit shipped over, Shine would probably get on this faster than waiting for another 5 people to sign up. This is just my .02...

I can afford the $200 deposit, and the price of the replica, sadly that's why I want a replica, I can't afford the original. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed we get 5 more bodies on this. The vertex lang group buy only has 5 people signed up, and from what I recall like 3 or 4 of them are trying to get this going as well. Go where the buyers are shine!!!

You guys are very enthusiastic. That is a good start. But 15 is the magic number to be reasonably profitable. And put down if you want the sides and the front bumper so we can do calculations.
You guys are in competition with Vertex right now..... so the race is on.

The FEED is my first choice. I hedged my bet with the vertex group buy. But if the FEED list is completed faster than the vertex, then I will withdrawn my vertex list sign-in, and stay with FEED.

i enjoy the feedkit, and will be starting a full time job in June, so this is a possibility. I know this is a far out question to ask, but I'm new to the body kid scene (other than drooling over pictures in the forums), whats it going to cost by the time I have that **** on my car (i.e. front and side skirts, shipped, painted, installed). I realize this will vary, just looking for any realistic estimates.

will probably cost you $1500, but less if you live in SoCal because you just have to pick it up in Ontario, CA where Shine is.
Compare with original
Cost of original FEED JDM kit ---> $3,000 to $3,500 shipped, painted, installed
Cost of Shine replica ---> $1,500 shipped, painted, installed
Shine FEED replica kit will have better quality since it is made of flexible FRP and is bendable. The original FEED JDM kit is made of FRP and brittle.
Lastly, Shine has an excellent reputation in the RX8 community in terms of service and customer satisfaction. Shine is not going to jack any member. Body kits are his main business, so he has to protect and maintain a good reputation.
