Fender Flares for 8?

So basically..car sat for over a year and the rust on my rear fenders is gross..not a panty dropper at all!! I know they make the small flares for the Miata and was curious if anybody knows of any solutions that could help on the 8 body?

Probably best to grind it down, fix it and get some exact match paint. I had rust in the same spot and theres not much else you can do.

There's actually so much that when my body guy at work checked it out..said we'd risk blowing through the fender..

Damn thats unfortunate, well i'd still suggest fixing it rather than covering it with flares. The flares will look stupid unless you have some aggressive wheel fitment, and the rust will only spread unless taken care of. Cut it out, fix the hole with fibreglass, sand and paint.

Same with mine, the rust is pretty serious and i want to cut it of and put fender flares on. I found this one is pretty good and not that expensive.
Maybe you can give a try. I called them and they said you can order only the rear fender flares.

Rusting rear fenders is not that uncommon on the car. Mine has it pretty bad also. I will likely have it repaired to oem rather than adding fender flares.

Your best bet is to repair OEM. Buying just rear flares will look tacky and all of them also attach to the bumpers so its not practical for a street car.
