ok,

you guys wanted a deal... jay helped, as all the people that put in 20 bucks to get this done....

relax. jay will get it done.. lord knows i put my 20 in and am waiting for cf....

if you are that impatient and you have you 20bucks in sell your place in line.

this is not like you are waiting for the sfr turbo that was promised 2 years ago and never happened...

just my opinion i could be wrong...

I don't mind the wait. I think some of us are just nervous when there are no response to update requests. Thanks for the latest update though. Any time frame for the paint?

just to help a bit more. you might check out jays site... he does a lot of stuff...

i dont know dick but the rx8 would be very low on the making money list...

but so far he has done a great job.. if it is not fast enough that is fine... buy what is in stock.

this stuff is being made real time...

and i have not talked to jay since i got my rear spoiler.. i just know he gets the job done... and the rear spoiler took a bit longer that i would have liked, but it is just a accent...

Didn't take it that way at all! All valid points. I just hope that after all of this, he's still willing to produce new parts for us!

exactly. if he has the time to post other things on this board he has the time to update us at least once a week on the status of the vents.

and the unpainted vents are fine, I'll just paint them myself.

yeah dude it's snowing like crazy in dallas! 1" accumulation so far!

The city's pretty much gonna be shut down today.

And swoope, i dunno if this evo-r guy is your friend or whatever, but you are defending him until the end. The bottom line is he's a business. We're paying customers and we deserve some customer service. I don't know about you, but I don't exactly trust people who have my money and suddenly disappear from radar. Maybe you're just a bit more naive than i am, or perhaps you just have an abundance of money to where it doesn't matter to you.

nope,

i have bought stuff from in the past and he is a stand up guy.... as i said before you wanted a deal... if you are that concerned get your money back...

and no i dont have money burning a whole in my man bag, but it is just 20 bucks... if you are in that big of a hurry. the real product is out there for 230 to 300 bucks...

i just i guess i dont understand the urgency of an apperance mod......

and i am not trying to harsh you out... group buys and having stuff like this made takes time... it is how you save money..

one is in hand.. you may not have it but it will come..

i am sure it will be worth the wait..

btw, i am a call them as i see them kinda guy.. i have now reason to suck up to evo-r, other than they have given me good product.

beers

20 bucks? for the initial buy in maybe, then it's an extra 58 bucks on top of that.

Here's my paypal:
Dec. 20, 2006 Payment To EVO-R Completed Details -$58.00 USD

and the initial 20:
Sep. 5, 2006 Payment To EVO-R Completed Details -$20.00 USD

Of course I want a deal, but like I said in many previous posts, an update every-so-often isn't a bad idea - especially when people(not just myself) are asking for it.

A simple "I'm still waiting on the shop to paint the vents" would have avoided this entire conversation, but we couldn't even get that out of him. Thats what I'm bothered about and I'm sure a few others are as well.

PM's and Emails were also sent, to no reply, and not just by me. I'm sorry, but thats bullshit.

Don't give me this, "he makes great stuff" and "it takes a while" and "it's cheap, so quit crying".

Jay visits these boards, I know he see the PM's, Email's, and posts. If he was interested in growing a business he'd have the common courtesy to respond to those emails, private messages, and posts on this board.

Every other dealer I've dealt with on this board has responded to my inquiries in a timely and courteous fashion.

At this point, I'm tired of arguing with you swoope. Apparently we're not going to see eye-to-eye on this issue and so be it.

+1 ^ This is getting a bit much. I wish this arguement would cease - it's pointless. The group buy (this one as well as all group buys) is not a popularity contest for someone or some company - most of us don't know the vendor or the individuals involved - nor should we be expected to have pre-cognition of anyones prior dealing. This is a simple business transaction and should be nothing more - nothing less. Common business practices should apply - nuf said.

The questions I had concerning "What's going on?" have been addressed for the most part, at least on this thread with with a post. (I've not gotten any reply to my email). I'm satisfied enough at this point and simply am waiting for the painted things to arrive whenever.

Can't we all just get along?

that is fine..

a am not arguing with you i just answered the ?s you asked and gave an opinion... just the group buys tend to work this way..

if you are not happy... ask for your money back. i dont think that will be a problem..

it was never meant as a pissing contest.. i was just giving my past transactions with evor and all group buys in general...

kinda like when you were helpful to me about the corksport exhaust..
