Yea, best way is to have clips like stock one on the sides. I'll figure out.

fd the problem is they don't have the intricate bend designs that make it snug... the ties would likely work if they did. Look up close by the V corner at those 2 bends. Love the design just have to engineer it better. I may drill some small holes on the metal lip to secure it better and flush it in...think that's the best we can do with this version.

I used strong double sided stick foam I had left over from my Sirius radio along with the zip ties. It's not going anywhere, but it needs to be molded like the originals with the clips from the ground up. If you can do that you'd have no problem selling these.

Mugatu, have you checked out Accolade fenders?

Still waiting for a resolution as well; $175 in plastic/paint/hotglue/chickenwire sitting here staring at me everyday is somewhat troubling.

Yea, that is seeming like the only option here... and some of us will still loose out on the money we spent on painting the damn things too.

If your stuck with these like me try thin double-sided stick foam and cut small strips that barely fit on the frame lip. Use it with the guetto ties. Mine look fine but I'm still not happy with the product.

Why do you say that you are 'stuck' with these? Do you not expect some sort of re-compensation like Mugato and I?

he promised to make things right by either a refund or new vents. a month of waiting is enough for the replacements, so a refund is in order.

jay, do the right thing. refund my money now.
