Good thing I decided not to order anything from this guy. I almost ordered a ton of stuff from him but changed my mind. It probably would have been all crap anyway. If he doesn't give you guys your money back soon, you should report him.

I sent PMs and emails to you, but only heard from you when I posted on the other forum. You said you are still at SEMA, but if you're checking your emails while you're there, what's your excuse for waiting so long?

I will wait for next revision, I didn't think there was going to be one. So I will not ask for the money back at this time. Yes, it does hurt to loose the painting money, but maybe I could get my replacement version painted at a discount? It would be nice to not have to bug my painter again for such a small job. Let me know what you think.

Advise! Do not use ziptie. It is just too hard and there are no holding point on the top or bottom part of the vents. What we use is 3M Butyl Rubber tape. Apply this over almost edge of the inner surface of the fender vent hole. Put about 3 layers on the 2 middle bars. "DO NOT!" put too close to the outter edge. Cuz once you push on the vents the butyl will be pushed out and you will have hard time cleaning those TAR out. Once on use heat gun or blow dryer. Heat the vents ahd push it in till it is in shape and fully in. This should stay on for good. Easy to remove and reasy to put on. It will not fall out during driving.

Wait, I thought you were designing a whole new vent that worked? I already tried the double sided tape thing with mine (got some pro stuff from my painter), and since the shape is too far off from actual, after a while it either pulls away or won't stay lined up right, and the double sided foam can be seen easily unless you do it perfect.....................
So you are not making new designed vents then? That is all I want to know.

double side tape will not do. Cuz it is too thin to hold the whole surface of the vents. This is why I use 3M Butyl Rubber which is very thick. Can shape the curve that is not perfect covered.
