Still waiting for something, but at this point, I don't even know what I am waiting for... All I know is that my vents that I paid for and paid to get painted are sitting in a box, and not on my car.

The last pair I got from Jay was about as good as it is going to get. It is not perfect, but fits better than my friends accolade vents, and I spent a lot less =).

"screw" you Jay. I have had enough of waiting around for something I am likely never to get. Thanks for all of your 'help' and 'great' communication. I will be sure to tell everyone where my 'great' fitting fender vents came from. Cheers.

yep, quality is **** and fitment is laughable. I'm glad I got my money back instead of waiting for a fix.

Like I said if you take time and try to fit it right it will look perfect. People who did it right are happy with them. All it take is just add 3 metal clip to them.

I ordered a set and installed the vents two weeks ago - nice product and would purchase again from this person. I did not have any of the problem that are shown in this thread. Sorry others do not seem to have the same experience.

Not for the first version. First version we supplied same exact as what Autobhan original version supported. They were attached with mesh and zip ties. It was not a very good solution and many people had hard time putting them on. This is why second version comes with clip on it already. Which made the installation alot easier and just slip and clip.

Are you replacing the first version for ones with clips if we send them to you?

Are you kidding? Aside from the overall shape and fitment being wrong, the three openings look like they were cut out by a drunken monkey with a Dremel drum sander. Did I accidentally receive prototype number 1 or something?

Those do look nice Mugatu - but not about to spend another $150+ on a set of painted fender vents.

yeah, its just a shame these came out later than sooner, instead of all of us wasting our money on sub-par materials.

Fit and finish on this one looks promising. Maybe with the mesh painted matte black.

You've got to be kidding....
and by the way, it is MESH not mash. Mash is what you do to potatoes.

I got some of the RX-8 strakes side vents and will be doing preliminary install for photos this weekend. Then I will get them painted. I will post in a new thread as to minimize any embarrassment to bling vents.
