Finally! #7440 Stealth Bulbs

No Freaking Pistons
white markers = Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) parts.....easily available from several sources here....I put amber'd 'stealth' bulbs in my clear markers, and I then removed (w/a bit of aggro)the factory marker's internal reflector to ensure even light distribution....

when the bulb is not on, it has silver lining to it; hence you don't get that ugly orange reflection inside your lamp housings.

I too am looking to get rid of that nasty amber reflection.
It sounds like LEDs arent the best bet for turn signals, and it looks like StealthAuto.com has stealth bulbs for $25 a pair and PIAA has their mirror orange for $47 a pair?
As far as stealth bulbs for the clear corners, anyone have any input? Would amber LEDs from superbrightleds.com be good or should I go with some other 194 bulb? (I have heard bad things about autolumination and would like to stay away from them)

Oooh, shiny!

I have had the chance to run both stealth bulbs, and some generic 4-LED clustered ambers (unknown brand) in my clear corners (#194); I would have to say that the illumination quality is indifferent between them. Granted, I did not take out the reflective plastic mirrors in my clear corners, so I don't know what they'd look like without. My presumption is the stealth bulbs would be better in that case because the LEDs would probably be more directional-prone, and only illuminate towards the rear whereas with the mirrors removed, the stealth bulbs would shine all around.
