FREE FREE FREE 3rd Brake Light Decal
*** MOD EDIT: This give-away approved by Omicron 9/20/04 ***
10-11-2004: Edit.............................................. .................................................. ......
Only have a few "zoom-zoom" decals left....
I'll be closing this thread in the next week or so....
Thanks Omicrom for letting me give these away!
END: .................................................. .................................................. ....................
Yes fellow Rx8 owners, they're FREE!
I asked a friend of mine (in the graphics business) to cut me
one "zoom-zoom" and an "RX-8" decal from Black 3M vinyl.
He cut about 50 for me.
Guess what? I'll never use them all....
Most of them are for stealth installation (cut in reverse).
I do have a few zoom-zoom & RX8 decals that can be installed
on the outside of your 3rd brake light (or elsewhere on your car).
Why am I doing this?
It's my way of saying thanks for all the DIY pointers I've gotten off this site.
PM me and I'll give you my address.
You'll need to send me a stamped self addressed envelope
and I'll return one decal of your choice to you.
Please enclose the number of which decal you'd like when you send me your letter.
I'll only send one to each person who requests a decal.
I only have black decails.
First come, First serve!
When they're gone, they're gone!
D MENAC 7 has a great DTI with instructions how to get your brake light a part.
Thanks Omicron for your help and understanding!
Have Fun!

Just sent you a PM. Look forward to hearing from you!
PS. I'm confused as to why it matters if they're reverse or not. Can you explain? I PM'ed you (might have referenced the wrong decal number!) but would be interested in the RX-8 stealth one that goes inside the 3rd brake light housing.

lol nice i like the zoom zoom
i have the original 3rd brake light from d menac7 and one of my favorite mods.
the reason they are backwords is cause of the two need to be stuck together
to elminate any light emmiting thru one layer.i hope that makes sense.

I started out with only 50 decals and half of them are spoken for in only 3 days.
Dennis has exceptional products and he was kind enough not to complain about these few freebie's I'm giving away.
Hows that for a stand-up guy!?!

I now laminate the ones we sell between 10 Mil plastic and they come precut and ready to insert and are as stiff as a credit card. They can withstand being under water, just in case you drive into a lake or river, mind you. :D J/K
Besides, these are good for business. The more who see them, the more who will eventually want them and will ask where they got them and Doc's 50 will be gone so who will they all turn to then??? :D Why that would be us. See my signature. Thanks Rx8_MD!

I apologize for not giving you credit earlier!
You are one of the contributers I am most grateful to!

Hooray!
Al,
I finally got around to installing the brake light decal and taking pictures, so I thought I'd share them with you. It worked out really well--I think it looks great! Thanks again for sending me one!!!!
PS. If the silhouette looks distorted, it's the camera's fault--the pics came out a little grainy.

Light is the most difficult object to take a pic of. It took me many attempts to learn what to do to get a great pic of it. I am sure it looks very close to what my avatar looks like. :D

Got mine installed
Received my letter back from Rx8_MD with the decal, my lazy/busy *** (depending on who you believe) just installed it last night.
EASY install, took me 15 minutes tops. Reviewed D MENAC 7's thread on how to disassemble the light, very easy.
the 'zoom zoom' decal looks *great*.
Will post pics when I get it washed (hopefully tonite).
