Front appearance kit installed

Hi

So there she is. Got the rest of the kit to put on her as well. But I need to repair them as well.

Nice! I just did mine. Same as you, I found it in a junkyard for $24.

You have to drill some holes to install it, same for the rest of the kit. When it came knew from Mazda there were paper patterns to lay out the holes for drilling. If you can somehow find the pattern it’d help, but I suppose with some effort and general skill you can figure it out with just the part in hand. There’s some thin sponge-style double sided tape you’ll also need to replace around the top perimeter to keep it up tight and sealed to the front bumper surface.

.

Yes, that is correct. It was done by mechanic who said the location for the holes are marked on the inside of the bumper for drilling. It is best if the bumper is removed for installation.
