Ok Im New to this site. im sorry if i skipped somethin'. Anyways, i would like to know if anybody had this kind of problems im havin' with my rx-8. the problem is that the front bumper is kinda missplaced. and like it won't flush to the hood. Here are some picture so you can see what im talkin' about.

As you can see in the last picture the bumper opening is wider in one side...which is the left driver side.

yeah, if that's oem, which it appears to be, it's just not put on correctly. who put it on? probably missing a clip or something. it should line up perfectly, but it has to "snap" into place.

Also this part is missin' from the right side. i believe that thing has a hose attached to it. i think is like a mini radiator lol or however you call it.

This part is so damaged and i believe its bold on. maybe i can go to a junk yard and find this. What do you guys think??

it's not looking good my man... the first thing you are referring to is as side bumper bracket here is a link http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...=6&catalogid=2

second thing, "mini radiator", those are the oil coolers and if you are in Europe you might just have one, but in the states there should be two for sure. If you have disconnected hoses, then you are missing one on the left side.

And good luck finding this car on the junk yard.

That radiator thing as you called it is a oil cooler. If your car has an automatic transmission, it only came with one.

but to be honest, it looks like you did have one as you can see the lines are there but connected weird.

and yes, you can replace the banged up part with the bolt on and off

Thanks. You're the only one who spoted it, i was thinking the same thing. the lines are there but its connected to another hose, but it isn't that important because the A/C is workin' properly and also i really appreciate the links. Another question. Do you have ANY idea where can i get that banged part?? I've searched in local junk yards but nothin. Thanks in advance.

from this picture, we can see this car has the 16" rims:

http://i438.photobucket.com/albums/q...0/100_2613.jpg

Those rims only came on the lowest end model of the automatics (every other model had 18" rims), so the missing oil cooler would be expected.

btw, you can rotate the bumper ***** under the hood to raise/lower the hood height on the sides. You can also raise and lower it by adjusting the hood latch (I think you just need a 8mm wrench).

you wont find rx8s in a junkyard. you'll need to wait 10 years.
