Not to thread crap, but does this do anything at all? Looks like the air wouldn't even go anywhere...

Look at the carbon fiber piece in the 3rd pic....see the hole on the right side of it? Now look at picture 2 and see how the intake is attached to that hole?

As far as it actually doing something........not sure. It would just look sorta cool I guess.

Guys, this is the proper intake modification for maintaining the OEM looks, you will need an opening on your OEM airfilter box to join the addtional hose to connect the badge vent as shown in the pics. This is not just for the looks.

really? all it does is relocate the intake point from the OE mesh grill to a hole in your bumper...???

This is the cost price ordered from Japan Legsports. Pls refer to the website above. Pls note they do not deal with international customers, it took me alot of connections to purchse 2 sets from Japanese friends to send this over. Purchase receipt will be included.

....I didn't notice it connected to the intake until you mentioned it J, but I'd have to agree with paulmasoner... and $250?? Why not just buy a cold air intake. I wasn't thread crapping before, but call it that now if you like because this just seems like a rip-off.

i wonder if it could be modified to work with the mazdaspeed/aem intake by having it just blow down on the filter instead of to the oem airbox
