G2 Brake Caliper System Question For Those That Did It

I purchased the G2 system in Yellow for my Titanium 8. The directions say that once you mix the reactant with the paint you have 6 hours to finish the job. It also says to keep the wheels off for 2 hours. The only way I can do this project is to take one wheel off at a time since I don't have access to a lift. What is the harm of painting the calipers then reinstalling the wheel while it dries? The wheel doesn't even contact the caliper. I think I can get it done in 6 hours as long as I don't need to remove all 4 wheels at the same time. Just wondering how anyone has handled this that's used the G2 system?

Thanks
Matt

That same reason is why my G2 still sits on my desk. Can't wait to get this done. I don't see why your method would not work, just don't bump the caliper when putting th wheel back on.

I put the car up on four jack stands. That way I could do extra coats. By the time I got the fourth one done the first one was ready for another coat.

Don't mix the whole thing all at once. Do it in parts. Mix only a portion of what you think you'll need. The paint will harden quicker than the stated time.

Yes, but doesn't last long due to Brake Dust

Brake dust is why I also bought new Hawk HPS brake pads from Tire Rack. I'll install them along with my new Rotora rotors and paint the calipers while they're off the car. Hopefully the Hawk pads help with the dust. We'll see.

Sounds great - are you replacing the brake lines also to stainless?

I've had stainless brake lines on for a while. I highly recommend them. I took my time on ordering other brake components because I was hoping someone would come out with a rear brake kit (I didn't want to replace the front calipers only). But, it doesn't seem like that's going to happen anytime soon.
