good news and bad news

First the bad... I've had my Rx-8 for 1 year and two months, has 14k miles on it, and it flooded for the first time last week end, had it towed to te dealer, it was so bad they had to replaced the spark plugs.

The good news... Since I have the Nordic Green, every little spec shows up, and over the last year all the road debris that has been kicked up by the front tires has scored the side of the car and basically sandblasted the front tips of the side aero flares... The service manager at Reno Mazda agreed with me that this is a design flaw. So he agreed to repaint the sides of the car from the front wheel all the way back, under the door line... it looks perfect now, and my front mud flaps are on order!! woohoo!!

the guys at the service dept are great, I'm pretty lucky I think... I've read some of the horror stories about other dealerships...
