Good paint shop in L.A.?
Hello all! just got my 8 a couple months ago and I'm looking into some research for my first mods. The first couple of things i want to do, besides the clear corners and grills, (hopefully all b4 SS) i need to get done at a paint shop, as i dont trust myself for these, and i need recommendations 4 a good shop.
1). I want to put a clear bra on the front of the hood and the lights (the bumper is done for so ill wait to repaint it or get a whole new bumper)
2). I'm going to buy all the emblems on the car and have them painted charcol/gun metal to replace the chrome. (did a little searching and it seems easier just to buy them new than retape/glue)
any input is greatly appreciated and thanks in advance!

i went to aerotect for the clearbra and it wasn't really a good job for my car. and being black didn't help. they do real nice work on other cars like the exotics and expensive cars. Outlaws_Extreme is getting (or got) his IS350 done there. they probably do the best work to the cars on the forums they visit and sponsor....lol

Try Xlnt Tinit, thats whi installed my clear bra. Most of you guys have already seen it on my car. I have had it on for about 1.5 years with no complaints.

Ohh one more thing. It can be quite pricey if you want to get the whole bumper done. Thats why I only got the front fenders and hood done. I figure I would probably end up getting some form of a replacement for the bumper (i.e. Mazdaspeed, Autobahn, ect.) in the near future so why bother dishing out funds on something i'll replace.
