Have HID housings/bulbs, how to retrofit?
Ok, i purchased the HID housings for the rx8 with bulbs, ballast, motors etc. i want to replace them. Does anyone know if this is a direct bolt in? Will the extra wiring be there in the loom someplace? Anyone have any experience with this exact situation? These are the factory housings etc. not aftermarket.
Thanks
Thanks

You're not going to be able to hook up the auto leveling motors, they require senors on the front and read of the car. Other than that, they should drop right in.

Hid....
For sure you can get them going, just won't be able to use the levelling motors, you don't have sensors on the 'axles'.
You will need to use a 15 amp fuse to EACH - the halogens, I think use one 15 for both.
Keep us posted on your progress, we are here to help!

interesting, have any part #s?
I wonder if there is a "sub" harness that would include all of those attachments....i was under the impression that all the pigtails would be there, just tucked into the loom...a la gm.
