Headlight covers

I am just curious to know what everyone's opinion is regarding these Run Racing headlight covers. I'm looking at getting some eyelidz but wasn't sure what style to go with for a Black 8 (i.e. R-Magic or the Evo-R carbon fiber)...Thanks.

I would have to see it with the whole car in the picture, but it might look pretty cool.....................

Thanks for getting those pictures Rotary and Jump. I don't know why my attachment didn't come out. I'm kinda going back and forth about these. They seem to give the car a dual headlight look. I agree with Kain, I'd have to see the entire car from different front angles to be able to get a better idea. What do you think about carbon fiber eyelids and B-pillar accents on a Black 8?

I actually happen to like these eyelids moreso than the other eyelids that have surfaced (i think those carbon fiber ones are HIDEOUS).

So, I quickly photoshopped this to get a better idea:

Here is a pic of the CF eyelids from evo. Thoght this might help as a reference. i like the way they turned out and the price was reasonable.

Sorry the car is dirty, I just put them on but haven't washed the car yet.

One more of just the head light.

They work on the black car but I will say I would want them to be color matched if I had anything else except maybe the silver colors.

Thumbs up

Those look better than I thought they would. You're right...they would only look good on a Black or Titanium 8 IMO. This is going to be a tough decision! Do you have the cf B-pillar accents also?

By the way...if that's your car when it's not washed, I'd love to see it when you wash it...looks clean to me

I like my R Majic eye lines. Run Racing ones are too much for me.

Yes, the black 8 is mine. I am waiting for the cf pillars I wanted to see how the eyelids turned out before I started covering everything in cf.

I will post when they are on and the car is clean.

getting back to the original thread subject...

anyone seen a better price on these? I might consider them if the price was better than $180.

Ya know, the more I look at these the less I like them... almost makes the car look feminine... like it's got eye lashes or eye liner or something. Check it out:

Stock headlights are good-looking enough,imo.
I have to replace the hi-beams and fogs with some nice superWhites, and next week the 6-LED 194 parking lights go in,along with Rotary Engineering's oil cooler protectors but I won't be altering the look of the headlights anytime soon.
