Okay... I have looked through so many threads it's all starting to blend together. I've seen mixed reviews on all the different brands of lights... and to be completely honest, I'm just tired of researching it:

Here's what I've learned so far:
194's for the interior - roger!
VLeds are better than auto illum - roger!
PIAA - pricey but good, but may flake down the road - roger!
Hoen are typically preferred for the foglights - roger!

Here's what I'm wanting to achieve:

Interior:

I want the interior to be bright white - do you have any recommendations, and pics of what you are recommending?

Exterior:
-------------------------
I will be using clear corners: What bulbs do you recommend for the cc's, and pics of what you are recommending?

Fog Lights: I want these bulbs to closely resemble the HID headlights. What do you recommend, and please post pics of how yours match?

Parking Lights: I want these bulbs to closely resemble the HID headlights. What do you recommend, and please post pics of how yours match?

License Plate Light: What do you recommend and do you have a pic?

I've already decided to use Stealth bulbs for the front & rear turn signals. All indications point to that's the way to go for those. If you recommend something different, what is it?


After recommendations are made: I'll make a purchase, install them, and post before & after pics.

 

I'm in the same boat. I already did my interiors with LEDs from superbrightleds.com. I got 6 LED "bulbs" for my map lights and puddle lamps, and the 180 degree 5 LED "bulbs" for the courtesy lights and the trunk light. Also, I got a 9 LED festoon bulb for the dome light that only works about 50% of the time. They are so cheap I would recommend getting at least one extra of each type.

For the turn signals, use 7440 stealth bulbs. I bought PIAA mirror orange bulbs off of ebay. I think 4 years might have some extra bulbs to sell as well.

For clear corners, I have heard good things about getting amber LEDs (you could order these from the same place as your interior LEDs and save on shipping), in that they are pretty much white/clear when not lit and amber when lit. However, this is something I'd still like to hear more about. They are 194's as well though I am pretty sure.

the "rocket shaped" running lights are another curiosity that i am waiting to hear about.

Many thanks to the 3 of you. I installed my new lights today and absolutely love them. I'll put some pics up when I have my cable for camera (left it at work).

I went with Hoen for fogs, 6 V-Leds for my parking lights, 4 V-Leds for the rest of my 194's, Stealth Auto for Clear Corners and turning signals....

 

every time i come on here im glad i became a member of the rx8club... those hoen lights look amazing... and cheap too... i will be buying the fog light bulbs... the H9 high bulbs, as well as the "city" W5W LEDs

I can't say enough about vleds, I've had very good experiences with them.



Now you need some cool footwell lights from Rotary Rasp. Here's more lighting pics of the Jedi Mobile.
Those are vled 194 hyper white bulbs in the door panel. (they look blue because of the blue led footwell lights)

 

I've been using the dark sdie to keep your Jedi powers away.

Plus... that dead fish I cramped up your exhaust helped too!
