ok i have 6K HIDs in my high beams and fogs. the first day the one of the fogs only came on half the time and buzzed for a second when they did not come on. bout a week later they stopped messing up and worked fine. two weeks later...
today they stopped working completely so i checked my fuse for the fogs and it was blown...replaced the fuse and tried them and it blew instantly
whats the problem? do i need load resisters? is it a bad ballast thats blowing the fuse? if so should i worry about the high beam HIDs too? any help would be appreciated
also the bright lights indicator on the dash stays on when the fogs are on...dont know why??? maybe thats a sign lol

 

U couldve messed up the wiring but I doubt it. My ballast blew twice and the hid stopped working. I had buzzing before it blew. Take it out and return it ( if u have a warranty ) bad ballasts = blown fuse

 

could be a lot of things, unplug one side, then turn them on, see if it blows, then repeat for the other, might help you determine which one is causing the problem. Could be a bad ballast. Could be a wiring short. A lot of stuff.
