HID kit

well i was thinking about buying a HID kit from http://www.therpmstore.com/index.php?cPath=57_60 and deciding on 35 watt or the 55 watt. wat does the wattage matter anyway? use more energy....? and if i should get 1 yr warranty or lifetime warranty for $25 more. is the lifetime warranty even worth getting?

I purcahsed the 55w kit from them(or I should say him), and I was NOT impressed with the service or the seemingly lack of organization. I ordered the 55w kit for a RX8 and got a universal kit, and when I mentioned this to him(I was just missing the two headlight harness') he offered to ship them ground or overnight at my cost. That just seemed wrong to me.

Now about the kit...Honestly I didn't/don't notice much over the 35w OEM HIDs. I got the 4000k, trying to get the brightest "more visable" one I could. From what I can tell, All I did was make it hard for me to get replacement bulbs. Maybe one of these days I can compare mine next to an RX8 with OEM HIDs.

I've never been able to tell much of a difference between the 5 and 35 watt. I only change hid bulbs for a color difference, though I will say 12000k are VERY slightly dimmer than oem. it's barely noticeable.
