Question High beams

I hardly ever use my high beams because the HIDs are so good... but when I have gone to use them I find them next to useless because they're aimed so high. They literally light up the second story of a 2 story house from 100 feet away.

So I asked the dealership about reaiming them when I was last in there for a reflash, and they said they are not adjustable.

Any ideas on how I could adjust them without affecting the allignment of the HIDs?

I dont know how they'd be adjusted, but I use my high beams all the time, they seem to illuminate everything the HIDs dont quite reach, I think they're great. It's like daytime when I've got them all on.

At the risk of be labelled a 'post *****:'

ME TOO!

I think the High beams are great; drive with them on for awhile, then switch back to the standard lights, and the HIDs won't seem so impressive.

You are a post *****.

I also have not noticed the high beams being useless... they may be high, but because the HIDs cover the lower-half so well, they need to be aimed above that. I'm going to check out just how high mine are aimed tonight, because I could swear they aren't aimed at the 2nd story from 100 ft. away -- they have seemed more straight-on than anything to me.

Omicron,

Youre not alone bro. My highbeams seem to illuminate everything in front of me EXCEPT the road, but hey maybe its our perception of them.

I read "Highbeams" and thought something completely different for some reason.
