Unhappy High Velocity Rock

Well, it happened to me yesterday while taking my baby to the dealer to have the alignment checked. I was on the freeway going about 80mph and a car adjacent to me chunked a big friggin rock into my lower passenger side rear door. It made two half inch parallel scratches and almost went to the metal. So I call around and get some quotes on getting it fixed and all of the shops here in Dallas that I called said they would have to repaint the entire door and the cost would be around $400 and about 2-4 days. This seems a bit drastic, so I asked the dealer and they said they recommended ABRO-COLOURS in Dallas that would come to your home or office and do the touch up work.

I would like to know if anyone has used them or can recommend a safe way of getting this repaired. I just don't believe you have to paint an entire door for a couple of scratches that are about <-----> this long.

I dont know of anyone in Dallas or my town for that matter. I would ask around in this section https://www.rx8club.com/gulf-rx-8-forum-32/
Good luck!
