How low is the mazdaspeed kit?

I was curious how low the mazdaspeed body kit sits without any suspension changes? How much is that compaired to the appearance package lip? Also if any one has any side by side pics of the appearance package and the mazdaspeed kit that would be great.

this has been covered a lot, a car with the OEM front lip and the Mazdaspeed bumper are so close in ground clearance it really isnt an issue, talking with-in an inch of each other.

I know that a car with the Mazdaspeed body kit and stock suspension will clear speed bumps just fine.

you really only have to worry with the mazdaspeed kit AND lower suspension. Although your still pretty safe cause the mazdaspeed kit wasnt made just for race cars, it come on the street legal MSRX8 in japan so it had adequate ground clearance even with the suspension.

When KWescott got his MS kit we measure it before with the appearence lip package (22" of clearance) and after we installed the MS Kit (22" of clearance). From the center it is exactly the same. The MS kit is a fraction of an inch lower on the sides only because of the extra grey 'lip' that hangs a little lower

This pic is of a fake MS kit (not Kwescotts) but I had a hard time finding a closeup, head on, and on with the kit and one with the appearance lip. The angle on this one is still a little off. It would be better head on.

Maybe this one is a little better. It is actaully KWescott with the true MS kit. You can tell better how close they are by looking that the wheels and the shadow.....

Here's mine: MS bodykit AND suspension. The stock bumper is going on in a couple of weeks because what you see isn't a bright red sports car but is, in fact, a bright red snow plow.
