personally i like hte ings+1 look

most of the forum people will tell you not to buy replica kits since fitment is going to suck, especially kits made by extreme dimensions, and its going to take the bodyshop a lot of work to get them to look right

I emailed that website and they stated that they would be adding many genuine ings products in the near future among other brands like, greddy, kicker, kenwood, etc. Im gonna keep an eye on this website because it might be very promising for the rx8 community.

never ever ever buy extreme dimensions products, they are the worst of the worst, you will waste your money, you will waste your time, you will not be happy with it, period. That's not opinion, that is fact.

Thanks! yeah it's fixing to get switched over from air ride to coilovers so I won't be as low anymore, but I will be able to enjoy the car more with having a more performance oriented suspension so it's all good. On topic though, good thing you saw the light, so many people on here think they can pull it off with replica kits and they just don't get it, I mean, would you rather have a real rolex or a fake one? People can tell when you hack a car together with cheap parts, even though I see all these "fitment was perfect" statements from time to time, I can still tell it's not quite right, I can still see waves in the fiberglass etc etc. To me it's just not worth it, either do it right, leave the car alone or sell it to someone who will do it justice.

I definately agree with you. Im just the same, but I did not know that extreme dimensions fitment was soo poor. I like to do things right the first time so im gonna wait it out and spend the extra money the first time rather than later.

When I originally decided on doing a bodykit they were the first company I went with as I didn't know about replica/original/etc., this is the first car I've ever done a bodykit on and I had no clue about the differences nor did I know there was a such a thing as knock offs etc. What I got from them was completely awful, how bad is it when the bodyshop calls you at work and won't even put it on the car until you come take a look at it? They boast of "guaranteed fitment", well my front bumper didn't line up correctly at all, couldn't even fit my sidemarker lights in it, it had no mounting holes along the bottom, it was wavy as the ocean, I mean, that was just the front, the rear was even worse. I saw that and was pretty unhappy, tried to send the kit back and that was a disaster in itself, dealing with these people was like pulling teeth. The dude was like "send pictures", I sent an assload of pictures....and....nothing, they wouldn't even take it back basically after all we did was take it out of the box, try and fit it, and decide hell no.
My Mazdaspeed bumper fits like a glove, no modifications, no wavy *** cheap materials, it's somewhat thicker than the knockoff was and just feels sturdier when you have both off the car, not only that but the "Metton" material Mazda uses is very resilient and will last longer than cheap fiberglass, I've run over stuff and both my sideskirts and front bumper have never cracked. I remember one time my sideskirts bent the mounting brackets from something that came my way driving once, they basically tucked themselves under the car instead of cracking, I wound up having to reapint them eventually due to spider webbing but structurally they were fine. If that had been fiberglass it would have shattered, period.

I talk alot on here about buying cheap parts because I've learned through the years you get what you pay for, there is no magical "good deal" out there, things cost more for a reason, it's generally because it costs more to make it which means it will almost always be of a higher quality. When you build a car using cheap parts, you cheapen the car.
