Installing Front Splash Gaurds

Can someone post pictures on how to install? Thinking about buying them but not sure how hard it is to put them on myself. Thanks.

If someone has already installed them and didn't take pics, it would be difficult to help you out. I don't recall if there is a DIY on this, so do a search or look in the DIY section before proceeding.

However, from my install, I can tell you that the instructions that come with the mud guards are easy to follow and the install is not difficult. Only thing you want to watch for is cutting the plastic strip under the sills. If you cut them according to the instructions, you will end up with a gap of about half an inch between the back of the guards and the front end of the plastic strip where the cut was made.

So before you cut the strips, temporarily mount or hold the guards in place and mark the cut line on the plastic strip. You then pop the front of the strip off enough to get a pair of cutters--like tin snips, for example--in there to make the cut. Pop the strip back in place and then complete the installation.

The directions that come with them are all you need. It's as easy of an install as you can get. Did mine in no time at all.

I agree with success07 and Go48. They're very easy to install and all the help you need is in the EASY to follow instructions. A blind monkey with spoons for hands could install these.

I have mine in the box and the install seems very simple. I am bringing the car in to the dealer for the headlight film and they said they would install them for 1/2 hour labor. For $40-$45, I am just going to let them install them. Call me lazy, I can handle it.
