It looks now better than before, but if that's the only air inlet for the intake (i.e. the intake tube is sealed to the duct), then it is rather a restriction than an improvement.

Do you guys actually feel any difference at all from this mod?

Im doing this hopefully just this weekend predominantly to get cooler air into the engine bay and for looks rather than performance.

However, Ill take some extra HP

i got about 40hp but maybe thats because i came from AT a couple weeks ago

I honestly doubt you could get any measureable increase in HP with a duct that small, and VS8's just isn't going to cut it, that is if it's functional at all. You need a constant width or very slightly tapering duct if you're going to get any real power out of it because otherwise you're just making more drag.

The only way you're going to see what might be somewhat significant power gains from a ram air duct is with the Revi intake, that thing is big enough and well enough placed to actually make some kind of difference. And you're not going to see any real power improvements unless you're up to at least 65 mph probably.
