I live in Texas and its illegal if you dont have a front plate and i have ran all of my vehicles without a front plate and have never been pulled over for not having it. However i did get a speeding ticket once and the cop added the no front plate onto the ticket.... It was 10$ added on lol. So the way i see it... The look of not having a front plate is worth 10$.

Same here never pulled over because your "supposed" have it on the front bumper and not in my dash but he added it on when i failed to use my blinker (****** douchebag cop)

Put it in your dash and see what happens, they'd be total dick cops if they pulled you over JUST for that

I actually made my own bracket out of aluminum and threw the bell bracket away. The reason was because the bell bracket was hanging too low and I was scraping my plate everywhere... Now my with the new bracket, my plate is even with my bumper and haven't scraped since. (BTW I am lowered with coilovers too)

you won't get pulled over for not having a front plate.. you'll get a ticket while you're parked. Just get the hideaway plate from swift motorsport. That's what i'm getting.

I never got a ticket for not having a front plate in long island.. but i got the ticket while i was parked in queens (during CHURCH.. ******* pigs haha)

So I've probably had the license plate off for about 2 weeks now and already got a ticket from some under cover cop LOL. Earlier in the day I drove directly behind a Suffolk County Cop and nothing happened. I told the cop that my front holder broke and I had one ordered from Mazda. So he walked to the front, looked at it, and said,"I don't see anything broken, or even where it goes." -_-

So by then I knew what kind of cop I was dealing with.
