i love vertical doors on sports cars, but have strayed away from it on the rx8 as it also holds the rear doors back and i dont see how this could possibly be very safe to mess with the doors because they NEED to be reliable

To get in you must:
open lambo doors, open suicide doors, move seat back, sit down, close suicide door, move seat forward, close lambo door. :o

I want them but I have heard they are a nightmare on daily driven cars and that they come off alignment often

I dont really care for lambo doors on our cars but if you are at a car show or in a parking lot with a lot of avg (non Import aftermarket savy) people. They are amazed by lambo doors. Just cause they have never seen them before. I would only consider them if they were free cause they would attract much more attention at car shows.

 

no, you'll get more attention at an import car shows with those rare horizontal opening doors...vertical doors are so common nowadays you'd stick out with normal doors at an import show.

the doors are around 1500.00 but I am not sure about installation

 

I just got my lambo doors....Yippee should be set up in a few days I will post some pics...
The hinges look very heavy duty..I can't see how they will come of line...
