So I just ordered some LED's for my brake lights and also amber LED's for my turn signals...however they aren't really bright at all...Does anyone know if there is something special you have to do or did I just get crappy bulbs for it?

Where did you order them from and how many led's per bulb? did you install load resisters for the turn signals?

 

They have 10 LED's on each bulb. I didn't know you need load resistors for the turn signals :-/

 

Yeah have you noticed your turn signals blinking really fast? That's why. Also, 10 is kinda low for those, I have 20 in each tail light and am quite happy with mine. I get all my led's form VLEDS, they have good products.

V-LEDS makes some seriously bright LEDs, they have several different 7440/3 bulbs. The ones that I'm using have 20 high power (.5 watt) LEDs. Click the V-LEDS link in my sig for pics.
