LEDs bright enough for clear corners and running lights?
I know this has been addressed in a round about way in other threads, but I had this specific question.
I already ordered PIAA 7440's stealth version bulbs for my turn signals.
I have clear corners and would like to put 'stealth' bulbs in there as well.
Can I get something like a 5-LED bulbs from VLEDs for the clear corners and running lights and have it be bright enough (I know this is physically possible, but wanted to hear if people thought it was bright enough, as this is my main concern)?
Also, for the running lights (rocket shaped guys in the front center), it doesnt seem like an LED bulb would be bright enough for these guys? Am I correct in assuming that? What is the best option to get rid of that nasty yellow glow?
please done reference other threads if they do not specifically address the "brightness" issue. Thanks in advance

I know you can use leds in the running lights. Lots of people do, including myself. I beleive most people use a 6-led bulb. I used V-leds high power leds. They work well for me and are bright as can be.
I remember there are some good threads with pics. I did a search a before I made this change and found at least two threads with great pics. I have no clue where they are now, but they are buried someplace.

Yes, 194 LED bulbs from v-leds.com will work in both the corner lights and in the parking lights (I assume that's the rocket shaped light you are talking about).
I suggest the high power for the parking light (they appear to be out of white right now, but I'd email them because I'm sure they'll get more in soon:

For the clear corners I suggest the refractor bulb as it emits in all directions (I have the amber ones in my corners, but white will work here too):

And yes, these LEDs are brighter than incandescent 194s and are plenty bright for the corners and parking lights. Go for it!

I put in 194s from superbrightleds in the clear corners and they are not quite as bright as they stock orange ones but look soooo much better IMO. They have lasted for around 7 months and are still going strong.

ive got piaa 194 4LED bulbs that I use for the fronts but they look alot brighter than the 6led bulbs from autolumination
They are by far brighter than the stocks and they match the HID's nicely
for corner lights I still stick with stealth 194 bulbs because alot of LED's don't project light to the sides (just the front) but the 5-LED bulbs should be plenty bright enough and they do project light out the sides too.
