it was repro' and I got fed up with the poor workmanship that went into the fitting. It was worked on so many times that I just got jack of it. the colour didnt match, etc. I figured that the > $1000 AUD it would cost be to be repaired and painted I would go with something simpler and less prone to error

One of our club sponsors has an agent in Japan. They got it direct from Leg.

Word of warning, the lip doesnt fit with the Hymee grill, so that now has to come off. Hoping to have it on the weekend.

Question I have about CF in general. how durable is it? I live in an area with very steep driveway and my last front end scraped all the time but it was FRP. How is this going to hold up? Am I going to have to raise the car (not a big deal but obviously dont like the 4x4 look).

Cheers

Andrew

my friend had an integra before with a cf lip... it looked like this after a while...

of course, different peoples stuff might be made differently, and the kind of driving he did and the area he was in may be different from yours. just so you can see what *could* happen

uhmmm look at the quality of that lip tho, looks like ****, also look at the hood, haha for carbon fiber that thing is wack, doesnt even fit right. CF lips are fine, just as long as you know how to drive and take care of it.

that teg actually was built for autox/race completely stripped and everything. its been through some transformations (including a show-car phase) so the lip was just to look nice, and it stayed

Thanks Kall. You'll see it tomrrow right? As for fitting, I mentioned above that the Hymee grill had to come out, funny thing is that if I hadnt removed it myself it looked like it would have fallen off, the lattice had basically seperated from each other and was only being held on by the 4 corner screws. Apart from that it was pretty simple. You really do need 2 people if you dont want to risk scratching the sides of your bumper, but you can get away with only 1.
