What has been added to make it a limited addition?

 

Color is a start.. Suspension, All the MS goodies, and knowing people in the US will never own one is limited enough

 

not seeing the inside or anything.....and I know you can order just some of the MS parts for the cars in japan from the dealer (much like here) but is this really a full factory MS car...? why does it have the stock 18's and not the MS 18's?

and yes the color is HOT!

the true MS car only comes in silver and that dark blue right? also I heard they only made 300 of them....is that wrong....or were there 300 silver and 300 blue or total or what?

 

The Japan MS is the Strato Blue.. not the Silver. The rims are an extra option... You can get the MS rims or not.. also the MS Magnesium rims if you really want to go bling.

Will they ever offer a mazdaspeed rx8 here?

 

that blue is the same color as the 04 mx5 special edition...i used to have one prior to owning the 8..its a cool color. It almost looks chameleon under sunlight.

 

If they had a special edition rx8 (like a shinka) with that color i would gladly pay more for it, it's sick.

Not a big fan of the black cherry of the current shinka's.

is that strato blue? it looks like the purple colour that I have seen some 3's in. I think it was 3's, maybe 6's. I don't know.

 

the purplish color IS strato blue mica, it is available on the mazda3

it is a very dark purplish-blue with mica (eg 'gold') flakes deep in the paint, yet another amazing color that make people gasp

 

hmm, I didn't know that's what it was called. Explains why I could never find it on the "build and price" pages, I always dismissed the blue as, well, blue. The pictures don't look purple at all on those build pages. Sweet.

So, I say, Mazda brings this to the NA market. You hear me Mazda!!

isn't that the verII MS car with the adjustable suspension thats in the US dealer's MS brochures but not in their computer systems to actually get?
