Lip spoiler?

Herc, long time no hear... I had maybe 1.5 posts before you disapeared in NY lawyer-land never to return...
I will vest you with my Euro Lip Spoiler knowledge gained from many hours of research....
Right now, short of "derwankel" coming out of retirement the only options you have is try to buy it from a stealership in Europe or buy from a private party.
First of all don't believe the hype, Euro Mazda actually has this part listed close to $1,000..... but who the hell pays that price in Europe when practically all of them get it by default. Show me one person that pays that price and I'll show you the village idiot.
So, you need to go through private party at the moment. And the prices have ranged from $40 to $400...
I got mine through a private party. The shipping cost was $80 and I paid $135 for the spoiler...
Check EbayUK, you might get lucky... check this sale, user asked for $40 bucks and it didn't even sell...

Just ordered the R-Magic Rear Lip
Ordered at http://www.bozzperformance.com/ for ~$350 total, 4-6 weeks shipping, need to paint on your own.
The R-Magic rear lip spoiler is more radical than the Euro spec, but not too ricey.

Not to presume to speak for thew ... but my experience with these lip spoilers is considerable so I offer this up.
The OEM spoiler is designed with 2 complementary and symbiant attachment processes. One is two-sided adhesive tape. The other is retaining pins and receptacles inserted into holes drilled in the trunk.
While it is certainly feasiible to cut off the pins embeded in the spoiler, it is NOT adviseable. These are the primary elements used to hold the spoiler on the trunk lip. There is the secondary two-sided tape, but it is a thin, not very wide, and not very strong adhesive strip. In my opinion it is grossly inadequate to retain the lip on it's own as there is not nearly enough of it and no way to add more. I think that is patently obvious as MAZDA incorporated the retaining pins and holes.
The OEM spoiler is made of solid fiberglass and has some mass to it. At speed. there is lift at the trunk lip. The spoiler is designed to guide the airflow and reduce the overall lift at the rear of the 8. These are not insignificant forces at work and I would not trust using this spoiler without the pins unless all of my driving was in city traffic. On the highway there is a strong chance you'd see it careening into the radiator of the car behind you in your rear view mirror.
